Peggy I think we are tracing the same family!! My father was James Frederick Kirton Born 4th July 1921 his father was Frederick Kirton born Henley abt 1880.

I believe allthough I have not confirmed it yet that he was the son of John kirtin ( kirton) born abt 1818

I would be interested to know if anyone has any more info
