The FAG link mentioned above also, when clicked through to the infant, states
Quote
Stillborn Child Of Houston & Margt J. Buried 23 May 1898

so, if correct, was more possibly this couple, who married in 1874 (therefore a rather late born child):

https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/view/?record_id=cima-2834809 Huston Storey and Margaret Hoey

albeit that means the dob details for the Margaret Jane listed at the FAG entry are incorrect.

The stillborn child had a last place of residence of 118 Spamount St., according to the burial index.

Mine bore little resemblance to my daily, probably far too much usage either, except being right about my enjoyment of researching in old newspapers (although even their statistics within that seemed way off the mark).

There is an Ancestry tree called 'Kathleen Ritchie' family tree that might be worth checking (sorry, no Ancestry sub so can only see limited details). It has the David who was married to Isa(o)bella, as

Quote
DAVID RITCHIE Orr 2nd cousin x 3

Another, "Karen Forrest" family tree also looks to have this couple, albeit with Kernochan spelling.

The David who died in 1915, was married in the Dunoon area in 1911, to an Isobella Kerr Kernohan. No obvious children in indexes. An Isabella Kerr Orr, maiden name Kernohan, died in Glasgow area in 1973 aged 87.

A David Ritchie Orr of 28 Albert Drive, Croshill died aged 52 in 1896. He was an accountant. So, name and timing sits well with the Agnes and sons in 1901 census. Crosshill and Cathcart are adjacent.

No images aside, have I suddenly lost my research capabilities, or have the pre 1871 death indexes (well, apart from those ones that already have a 'group registration ID'  number allocated, although no image availabe), now been removed?

Today, I keep getting:

no matter what I try.

Just a reminder that you still have his name in your first post too. You can edit it yourself for the first 24hrs, or after that, use the report to moderator button and ask them to remove the identifying details. Meanwhile, had you noticed that your chap seems to have a Facebook account? I don't use Facebook, so can't see if it is active, but the name, yoga and location in England all seem a good fit.
