Hi Trevor

Many thanks for your reply, I am aware of where the records are but I dont have access to the record office. So I was hoping someone may be able to help with a quick look up.  I don't like bothering the church directly if I can help it.

Gill

I am looking for the burials of William and Jane Neatby. William died in 1910 in London and his wife Jane died in 1934 in High Wycombe.

I would be so grateful if someone could verify they are both buried there please.

Bazinga

Thank you all very much for your help. Looks like a trip to the TNA is in order. Will these records tell me which camp he was in?

I have looked on FindMyPast and Ancestry, are there any other resources I can use, I am hoping to go to London for a couple of days so I might have chance to go to TNA.

Thank you anyway

I have a telegram informing the family that their son was a POW in Japan, I would like to find out where he was and how he got there. He was described as an Airman in the telegram.  The telegram is dated 1942.

The mans name is Stanley Brazier and he survived the war.

Wow thanks everyone, I have found out that James died  in the asylum in Chester, so the plot thickens this is certainly going to be an intresting family. I still need to find out where he is buried though and if I can find any of his paintings.

Wow thanks very much for your replies. HOWMUCH will check out the Chester connection, as far as I am aware the family never left Salford, but he was quite an accomplished artist so maybe he was on a trip out.
