Hi Seumas,

I realize realize that this post was written 8 years ago but I just found it tonight.  I'm researching the ancestors and descendants of Robert "Rob Ban" Robertson at the Miln of Invervack and I'm very interested in your account of that ancestry.  Would I find it on line?

Hi Anne,

Thank you so much for putting this information about Hugh HANDYSIDE on this forum even though you weren't sure that it fit the previous poster's family.  He connects to my family and it's wonderful to have the picture of the gravestone and the transcription of the inscription.

Hugh HANDYSIDE was married to Amelia Ann CAMPBELL who died in childbirth as did the child in 1885 in Napier, NZ.  He then married Blanche Leonora SKINNER.  She too died in childbirth in 1895 but the child survived.

Btw, Amelia Ann CAMPBELL is the great-granddaughter of Donald ROBERTSON of WOODSHEIL who led Clan Robertson into battle at Culloden.

I just came across your posting and if you have further details for the four items below concerning the Falconbridges of Derry, I would very much like to have them.
