Hi Chris ,The girl who was born there was ,
Daisy,Frances,Emma,Williams,
D O B April 8, 1885,
Parents ,Frank Williams/Emma Jane Williams.
He was a Naval Pensioner at the time,(1884) and then went on to become a Rigger .
He was born 1845.and Emma 1848,

I have found on the 1861 Guernsey St Peterport census R G 9/4379 ,a 2xGrt Grandmother Ann Palmer Widow aged 46 Fish Vendor ,and am trying to trace her husbands death Edward Palmer,Ropemaker, born 1820 Plymouth ,Devon.He is not on the 1837 0n line index for the UK.nor any other census which leads me to believe it was in the Channel Islands,could S K S either do a look up for me or point me in the right direction ,I live in the North of England ,Many Thanks for your time and trouble Tsumi

I have a whole lot of family called Farrent ,Farrents,Ferrans,Fearans, Fearance,Forrans,that has me going round in circles I started of in Caernarvon Wales ,then my journey by way of census 1851, took me to Liverpool, Lancs, in 1808,and down to the south coast around 1831.it all starts with George Fearance in Liverpool 1808 I can go into the future but no further back ,has anyone knowledge of the origins of this name

Hi all, I have just gotten a birth certificate for a ancestor and it states she was born at ,school of art,Claremont,Hastings,Sussex
Her parents lived most of their life in Plymouth, were they came from ,and Frank Williams  worked in H M Dockyards as a Rigger,I am puzzled as to why they were there ,can anyone enlighten me ,I live at the other end of the country so have no local knowledge as such.Many thanks for your time. I have a several relatives working in the Royal dockyards Plymouth 1820/1900s and beyond according to the census forms some were superanuated pensioners ,my query is, were would I find out more about them/it.Who would have paid them their pension and what records are left if any ,who would I contact etc,I have their addresses and family details to a point .Many Thanks for your time  Tsumi :)

Many thanks for that one, now I will try and see if anyone has access to those records,I live at the other end of Britain and I have had no luck with the Later Day Saints records, seems an awful lot were destroyed in the bombings on Plymouth, world war one and two.Cheers Tsumi :)

Could SKP do a look up for me on the census 1841/51 ,I am searching for Edward Palmer born 1820,married to Mary Ann,born abt 1817 ,they would have a son James born July 1841 and a son William born 1843,in 1861 they are at Chapel Place,Charles,Plymouth,ref rg9/1437,on the 1871 census she has a daughter Elizabeth born 1857and is a widow living at High Street St Andrew,Plymouth.any help at all would be wonderful  :)Many Thanks Tsumi
