Sea pie is a traditional dish found in east coast fishing villages. The recipe varies from fishing community to fishing community. The recipe I know has been passed down to me by generations of family members from the fishing village of Gourdon.

You need.....mince (ground meat), onions, potatoes and beef stock, salt and pepper to taste. This soup is thick and like very watery mince and potatoes (an other traditional Scottish dish!). About 20 mins before you are to serve the sea pie, make dumplings or dough balls as they are known in Scotland. Place uncooked dumplings on top of sea pie to cook. once cooked, serve and enjoy Mmmmmmmm

Hi
Getting back to the Munro Gove line. I have a Munro Gove in my tree somewhere. However I lost all my online stuff when my last computer crashed, but I still have all my paper notes. However I am actually going up to Gourdon at the weekend and I know where the family grave stone is. If you wish I can take some pics and email them to you?
