 Hi Collinskin here

Sam Collins was my grandfather and his wife was Annie Sophia my grandmother. They had one child my mother Jill in December 1934. She was a Southgate GP  until she left her medical profession behind to take up a music degree and ultimately left the country, living on a yacht in the Mediterranean. I also remember skidding and sliding in the sawdust in my grandfather's shop. We would be dropped off there after school. I was one of four children. My name is Joanna and I am one of three of Sams grandchildren children still alive.  I and my two siblings currently live in the west country., Devon to be precise.
Best wishes to all
Jo

HI
My great great grand father was Jack Joshua Collins. My Great Grand father was Samuel and my grand father Samuel. He ran the butcher shop in Southgate until 1963, I think. I remember going there after school! My mother is his only child Jill and now 74. I of course was given my father surname, which I still have.
I remember Harry as he had the shop in Palmers Green N.13.

I was told that some of the family emmigrated to New Zealand! Guess that's your link.

I have a framed picture of the shop circa 1913. I think Grampa was around 5 in the picture.
