Hi Chris,
There are 3 wreath's on the Curry burial plot at Termoneeny parish church.(you know the really old type, glass dome with metal cage.)I can just about make out who they are from.
One from his son;s Robert in Canada, and John in England, one from his son James and family, and one from his daughter Annie. Now who might the wreaths have been left for,Robert or Jackson? As you know,Robert and Eliza Curry and Jackson and Nancy Curry where buried there .  :-\

Hi Marimac,
The details of Jackson and Jane's marrage where taken from church records held at Castledawson presbyterian church.
Now, there are at least three Ballinderrys,I have just become aware of this recently myself. The townland of Ballinderry in the parish of  Kilcronaghan is about twelve miles from Ballyscullion, this is the one you want.

Hello Christopher,

Mary Jane Porter of Knocknakielt, Maghera, married John Winton of Calmore, Tobermore, on 14 Sept 1819 at St Lurachs C.O.I. Maghera. Mary Jane came from a presbyterian background and John was a Baptist. In the 1901 census they are listed living in the townland of Slatabogey, Maghera.I don't know if this was their first home after their marrage. They are buried at Knockloughrim Presbyterian church. John died on 13 Apr 1942 and I am now trying to find out when Mary Jane died,I know she died some years before him.(No luck at G.R.O.N.I and no burial records for church.) Is there any other way I could find out. ???
