It might be helpful to check the North Lincs Muster Rolls to see when he left or possibly enlisted in the regular army.  Substantial inducements were made for men who did so.

Coxgreen/ Cox Green.  Was on the south side of the River Wear.  Pattinson Town now part of Washington was directly opposite on the north bank.  Large chemical works dominated the north side .

I have a 1728 Will of an ancestor which mentions a property in "Corrig" in Great Yarmouth but I have been unable to trace this location.  I'd be grateful for any ideas.
