Many thanks for your prompt reply

Sadly I do not know the plot number all I know is that his obituary was in the Isle of Man Times on 29th April 1899 saying internment was in Braddan cemetery.
I feel sure he would have had a headstone as he was an influential business man who at one time lived in Ballasalla House, Ballasalla. Family gossip always said there was a stone and I just hoped that in this digital age someone might be able to photograph it for me.

Many thanks

Hello

As a new devotee of Roots web I have found your posting about the Nappers. I too have these Nappers as my ancestors as I come from John Laker napper the brother of Dendy and Henry F .

Would you be willing to share your pictures with me

I have made contact with Bparker

Many thanks

Surrey Completed Look up Requests / Smallpeice
« on: Thursday 17 July 08 20:32 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find the 3rd marriage of a JOHN SMALLPEICE to a DIANA (possibly Croke) between 1827-1841 has anyone come across this one.
In 1827 he lived in Stoke next Guildford (but it did not take place there)

Any information would be most welcome

Thanks for your reply
I have been researching the Nappers for over 20 years both direct lines and sideways. Last year I went to Pyrford and photographed all the graves etc.
I was particularly interested in the comments posted in  a reply to your postings about "the infamous" Dendy Napper  and would like to get in touch with that person . Is it you who has a photograph of Charles Napper and sons?

Have you got Charles' ancestors

Do the Daws come into your line as I have a photograph of the tombstone of Mary Ann Daws 1866 from Pyrford?

Charles Nappers grandfather was Dendy Napper and his brother John Laker Napper was my3 x great grandfather.

So we must be related
