usually people executed were buried in the prison grounds .if not a paupers grave in the cemetery.or if the relatives had money in the local cemetery with a headstone.hope this helps....

could you look for a burial for me? quite recent. its a rachel louise hamer buried .born 1975/1976 died 2010 . parents sandra and john .possibly in maidstone cemetery,sutton road..

i have the national burial index for wales and uk (second edition) must point out not everyone is in it. only the places that have donated their records.. so not everyone is in it. but there is plenty.. send me your person/s and i will look. must point out too i cannot print out from the index you have to take my word..i'm an honest person that likes to help in family hisory...

usually in the prison grounds or if not the local cemetery in a paupers grave...but the records would be in the cemetery office on site...

From the July 9 1965 Brandon Sun newspaper

Funeral service was held recently for Emma Marion Reid, 76. Internment in the family plot at Wawanesa. Mrs. Reid was born at Brandon Hill, Beddington, Surrey, England June 25, 1888. She came to Canada in 1921 to the Broadview and Debuc district In Saskatchewan and later to Manitoba to the Wawanesa district. She married James Reid in 1934 and moved to Glenboro in 1936. Later they moved to Cypress River where they farmed for several years returning here (must mean Glenboro) in 1956. Her husband predeceased her in 1959. Mrs. Reid was a member of the Deborah Rebekah Lodge at Debuc and a member of the Anglican Church. Surviving are 1 stepson, John Reid of Winipeg and 3 stepdaughters, Mrs. Percy Berry(Alma) Mrs. Dick Jones (Edith) of Cypress River and Mrs. Siggi Storm (Mary) of Glenboro. 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews in England.

If you want a copy of the newspaper page PM me and include your email address and I will forward a copy to you. You won't be able to get a marriage certificate for Emma as that is still protected under privacy laws (in Manitoba marriages after 1930 not available).

if you send me your list of people to look up on the burial index...i will look for you. i must point out that its only cemetries and churches that have donated their records and not everyone will be on the burial index.. say like my ancestor hugh hamilton mortimer died in south london ,i looked everywhere for him ,turns up he was buried in sussex..(south coast england)...he wasn't on the burial index that i have..but on the sussex burial records.anyway if you give me everyone you looking for. i will do my best..from wendy xx ;D

yes please ,  for a full lookup!!! i am tears this sunday morning. i have looked a long time for emma but with so little info on her i had nothing to go on...this is a day for rejoicing....!!!!! . i might even have some new relatives ,though i'm not sure emma had any children...still its early days yet and the son might have been hers..thankyou so much for every ones help... i do admit i hadn't been on this site for ages...so apologies those who waited for a reply ..
