No she’s the 1862-1936 one. I don’t know for sure but that branch all have bright blue eyes, so that’d be likely. I’d guess you’re right about the hair. Looking forward to seeing her

Thanks for looking, but there’s a wee story! There are two Mary Caithness Knights around the time. My gr granny and her cousin who was also her sister in law! The Knights in Broughty Ferry were very closely interwoven, to say the least! I’ve spent donkey's years trying to unravel them

She was one of the fisher folk of the Ferry who bated lines on the beach for a living. She lost two husbands at sea to the fishing. It amazes me she doesn’t look more weather beaten, although I don’t know when this photo was taken.
