If you could look in the Rolvenden and Tenterden areas for Greenhills or Exalls i would be very appreciative. If you can only concentrate on one, Rolvenden would be my preference.

Has anyone access to the 1841, 1851 and 1861 censuses for the Rolvenden/Tenterden areas in Kent? I am looking for

Alfred Greenhill on the 1841 census as he was not at home on the night of the census and

Rachel Greenhill born approx 1815
Alfred Greenhill
Mary Greenhill born approx 1834
Elizabeth Greenhill born approx 1836
Alfred Greenhill born approx 1838
Joseph Exall Greenhill born 1841

on the 1851 and 1861 censuses.

Thanks for your help, i had seen the two entries on the 1871 census for Joseph and Alfred and yes they are the right ones. I was hoping to find the parents especially on 1851 and 1861 as i can find no trace of them anywhere else.

Rachel Greenhill          - Wife born approx 1815 in Tenterden
Mary Greenhill             - Daughter born approx 1834
Elizabeth Greenhill      - Daughter born approx 1836
Alfred Greenhill            - Son born approx 1838
Joseph Exall Greenhill  - Son born approx 1840

who were living in Rolvenden Village on the 1841 census, no address given.

I have no record of the family since 1841, could somebody look up the 51,61,71 censuses for me to see if they were still in that area?

Sorry, only just logged on and seen your message.  The only names i recognise are William Moss and wife Charlotte who are my great great grandparents. William Moss was born in Dennington, Suffolk about 1833 and Charlotte in Wingfield, Suffolk about 1828. Think they may be too early to be the ones you mention? Do you know when they were born?
