Angus (Forfarshire) / J & J Ogilvie
« on: Tuesday 17 February 09 01:27 GMT (UK)  »
Hi, I'm new to this so hope I am in the right place :P I am trying to find any photographs of the Ogilvie family from 4 Park Place in Dundee (John Ogilvie, Anne Maxwell, James Ogilvie, George Ogilvie and others). I have found one of the family solicitor's offices in Meadowside and a couple of OB photos but I was hoping that maybe someone knew where else I might look. I have looked in the Dundee Archives and all the obvious places but hoped maybe a family member might read this and be able to help. Also if anyone is going near Barnhill cemetary I wondered if they might look for a headstone of George and Harriet Ogilivie section G lair #218. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Rhonda - Perth Western Australia

Hi everyone,
I'm so new to this I can't even work out how and where to post a message! I'm looking for info on my uncle and family who lived in Wishaw. Apparently my uncle died in a blast furnace accident in 1923 and is buried in Cambusnethan Cemetery.
His name was Charles McLaughlan and he marrried Mary McAleer in 1894.  His parents were John McLaughlan and Bridget Doherty. He had children, John, Paul, Charles, Michael, Mary, Catherine and Sarah Ann (Sadie).
Any help help would be so appreciated
