We are looking for any information about Patrick McNally, born about 1787, and his wife Judith Kilfroy (perhaps Kilfroy McDermott). Birth records, marriage records, information about their children William and Mary (borns about 1808 & 1810). Patrick was with the British 100th Regiment, and was court-martialled at Chambly in Canada in 1812. He was transported to the New South Wales penal colony on the ship the Surrey in 1814. Is there any information on when & where he enlisted? Anything about Patrick & Judith's life in Roscommon would be helpful - preferably with usable references for a PhD. Many thanks
