Good evening :)

I am looking for the parents of Ann(ie) Dakin Born in Derby in 1916. I know the surnames are Dakin and Phipps, it could possibly be Harold Dakin and Emma Phipps but this is not definate. I have tried Free bmd but not much luck, have found the two names separately but in different years.
Ann(ie) married Lyndon Henry Slater in 1939 in Shardlow, Derby and had at least two brothers called Leslie and Ernest. Her uncle (Harry Phipps) was killed on the HMS Formidable in 1915.
Any help in finding this marriage would be great, and anything further back even better! :D

Evening all!

I'm trying to locate Isaac Henshaw born 1898 in the Ilkeston 1901 census. I think his father is also called Isaac, born around 1869, but I also think he died in 1899.
Any help would be fab,

Thanks! :)

I've found a brilliant site for smalley that some lovely person has produced listing all the births and marriages that took place there:
http://www.smalley-ops.co.uk/foulks/index.html.
In about an hour you've helped me get the Foulkes family back to the middle of the 1600's, not bad for a lazy Sunday!  ;D
thank you :)

Hello there!
This is my first post, hope it makes sense :)
I am trying to trace the parents and wife of William Fowkes/Foulkes, who is in the 1881 census living on Prince Street in Ilkeston - he is shown as a widower and living with his family, eldest son is Joseph born in Ilkeston c1859. It gives William's birthplace as Heanor around 1839. Can anyone find this family before 1881, ideally firstly with his wife (who dies sometime after 1876) and then further back with his parents?
Any help received gratefully!
