The Common Room / Re: 1939 Register
« on: Friday 30 August 19 08:09 BST (UK)  »
Thank you everyone
I tried to the best of ability to try and find John and eughit/Eugene Sullivan in UK and Ireland but unable to confirm anything. other than residence 1938 and 1939 in Surrey
Family story is my grandfather was the Irish Lodger, my DNA shows this is highly likely.
John & Eughit were lodgers at correct time and the correct address.
The 1939 reg giving births and the addition of the ID card numbers (thanks for that help)I hoped might help me along.
honestly I am not sure where to go from here?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Rosie
Essex research is a new area for me, i have reg on GRO and found births as you said thanks again
Also reg into SEAX and went to parish reg where as you know they have pictures of originals, to enlarge you have to pay, so my question is, is there another way to search?

River Blackwell flows through Bradwell Juxta Coggeshall, bapt of James Sutton at Bradwell j C s/o Henry and Mary in Feb 1800, priest has missed out actual date, but it comes between baptisms on 2nd and 9th in the register.
yes have seen this, my quandary is Bradwell on Sea is next to river Blackwater so was hoping someone could look at Bradwell Juxta Mare baptism just in case.
Thanks in advance

yes this is correct john Totman, family researchers have said wife Elizabeth was a West but have not been unable to confirm this until you gave me GRO Reference: 1838  J Quarter in ROCHFORD UNION  Volume 12  Page 183
have been unable to find any marriage of john and Elizabeth had considered John was still married to unknown but can't find this either.
john was a thatcher are there records for this profession?
