Hi  Carole. Thank you for replying. I think it is more of a hope by my sister as she is a godmother to a living Stretton who has very little contact with her family ( not even knowing where her father now lives) and only just made the connection with the surnames and believe both families have a connection to the same area of Leicester

Leicestershire / trying to find a link between two Stretton
« on: Thursday 27 July 23 11:41 BST (UK)  »
Hi all. have been challenged by my sister to find a link between her mother in-law Rita Stretton b.1938 and Raymond Stretton b.1917.Rita`s family runs Ernest b.1911, William b.1915,William b.1834,Joseph b.1811. I have had a good look at ancestry but can't see any connection, was hoping that perhaps someone on hear with a closer tie to Leicester information and with more skill than I possess might be able to help us out and find a link.
many thanks in advance
Ian

Surrey Completed Look up Requests / Re: missing link completed with thanks

Hi Silentmolly
Welcome to rootschat. My mother is a living and we have traced her tree back to John Living b.1720.Her direct line is his son Richard b.1758 but whilst looking at the livings we came across GC Pratt Living marrying a Harriett Courage ( of the brewery line ) also seems he was a captain and had a fine life. We were unable to find the link to Charles Pratt B.1762 and have no idea at all as to where the Pratt name comes from Any info you have we would love to see and vis-a-versa happy to share any living info we have if you are interested
Kind regards
Ian

hi Kn
On the ipad original there is no usb port so you can not plug anything in I believe this to be true for the ipad 2 as well they do sell ones that connect through the mobile network using a Sim card if you look at apple.co.uk they will give you a full spec and run down of what each ipad can do
cheers

Hi
Does anyone have access to parish records for the Mudford area of Somerset? I am looking for any info on Elizabeth Flag b.1799 ish she had one son William b.1831 found on the 1841 and 51 census. I am seeing if they are in any way related to my family Flagg which come from Ditcheat
Many thanks for any help anyone can give
Ian
