Hi Irene ,
Thanks for your continued interest and patience with my request. I am only learning this business ,hence all the failures. I have tried again scanning photo and it is definitely  600 dpi this time but I may have resized it too small.

Donegal / CEMETERIES
« on: Tuesday 29 September 09 16:09 BST (UK)  »
Hi there,
Would anybody be able to tell me if there is a record of the graves or even the names of those interred in the old cemetery in Stranolar and also in the Old Abbey cemetery in Donegal Town. I have been to both searching for some ancestors and both are a mess.
Thanks

Donegal / marriage in Letterkenny
« on: Wednesday 15 April 09 23:33 BST (UK)  »
Could anyone tell me if possible to get record of the marriage of Daniel Cassidy (son of William Cassidy) born in 1852 and Susan Langan born 1853 which took place in Letterkenny in 1876 approx , also James Doherty and Mary Ellen Langan (sister of Susan ) born in 1857, also married in 1879 approx.  I have been informed that church records go back to 1842 in Letterkenny.
thanks in anticipation of your help

Donegal / Re: Diver Family Stranorlar carpenters and coach builders
« on: Tuesday 10 March 09 21:43 GMT (UK)  »
Shane,
I am very grateful for your info. re John Diver and his sons John and Harry, who were skilled carpenters and coachbuilders in Stranolar. Another brother Charles was also in the business and a 4th son Patrick was a contractor and builder in Donegal Town. Thanks again ,they are the family I am interested in.
I dont know about the Elizabeth who was a milliner. Would anybody have a picture of one of the coaches as I understand they left them on display outside their house while awaiting their collection by the local gentry.
