In 1911 they are living at # 8 Dreen. William and indeed a lot of his family seem to switch between Kilpatrick/Kirkpatrick.

Antrim / Margaret Leitch McCandless - Broughshane, Antrim

Hi,

I was wondering if any member could help in my research into Margaret Leitch (Leech) McCandless?

She Married William James Kilpatrick at Broughshane 2nd Presbyterian Church on the 26th June 1903. Her address is listed as Broughshane and her fathers name looks like it's John McCandless. Age is 'Full' but on the 1911 Census she is 28 so birth year is roughly 1883.

I can't find her on the 1901 Census. Plus I can't find a birth record either. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Conor

Tyrone / Final resting place of Joseph McLoughlin - Strabane
« on: Tuesday 13 January 15 01:01 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,

I'm trying to find the final resting place of Joseph McLaughlin/Mcloughlin.

Born circa 1873 in Strabane. At time of 1901 Census he was living at Townsend Street with his wife Ellen (Nee Robinson). At the time of the 1911 Census Ellen, a widow, is still living at Townsend Street with the children. One of the children is 8 in 1911 so I would guess Joseph died between 1903-1911.

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Conor

Many thanks for your reply.

Yeah that's them on the 1911 Census. My wife's great grandmother was born a few months later, Nancy McCracken Johnston. Still to identify other siblings.

The Wifes Great Great Grandparents married in the area in 1908. They were Archibald Johnston and Margaret Jane McIlvenna. I was wondering if anyone had any links with the family? Regards, Conor

As it says on the tin. I have a copy of the 1897 street directory available for look up if anyone's interested? Maybe some forum members have others available?

Kind Regards,

Conor

Thanks for that Mary. I already had the details though as I paid 5 euros to get it from the IFHF site. Is there some place where you can get this info for free?

Regards

Conor
