hi ronnieg i have tried everything i can think of i wrote to roscommon, but they couldn't find anything for me. all i know is her name was june grogan could be june margaret, bur on her wedding certificate it just gives her name as june, father james grogan, and i know she was born 4 march 1918. i dont know where else to try. thanks for replying. jean

hi emms thanks for that but i dont know who i'm looking for in the 1911 census i dont know if james was married by then or not i dont know his wifes name or his parents so i would't know if it was staring me in the face. thanks anyway emms i could do with the irish 1922 census and then i'd know by their childrens names. thanks anyway. jean

to gormangenealogy i have already been in touch with mourneroad parish church and they said they have only been there since 1946 so dont have records for as early as i want. also i dont know when james died so i cant order his death certificate, i only know it was before 1940 when june got married as it has father deceased on her wedding certificate. i dont know where to go from here. thanks for the reply anway. jean

hi if she was just registered as female would i still be able to get her birth certificate as i know her date of birth and fathers name. i know she was born in drimnah dublin. thanks for taking the time for me. jean

hi aghadowey thanks for the quick reply i have already applied to roscommon and they cant find any record, i dont know where to look next. june grogan born 1918 died in 1964 aged 46 and left quite a young family, so all we know is she was born in dublin drimnah i think, and from her english marriage certificate her father was called james grogan, but he was deceased in 1940 at the time of junes wedding. i dont know where to go from here. thanks for your reply. jean
