Hi ,
Family search shows me a descended family tree from Job Swinerton born 1701 Salem.
It gives a son James Swinerton born 1718 Salem married to Martha Battles born 1720.
I cannot find any reference to this birth of James to Job.
Can anyone help with documentation?

I am trying to find out about the family of a Timothy Swinerton.
Timothy was born about 1749 Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.
To parents James Swinerton and Martha Battles.
It is the parents I need information of so I can take their linage further
back.

Some is known about Donald Maxwell Swinnerton.
Including a marriage to a Agnes B Cullen in 1937,
and online family trees confirm this. But the tree
I have shows a marriage to a Stella ?.
Not sure where this information has come from.

Colin we looked at the Sarah born 1811 to John and Ann but found them not to be the correct Sarah.

Yes Trish, that's the family seems to alternate between Shrop and Staff.
I am hoping to confirm that the parents were Charles and Elizabeth
