Hello, I was wondering if I might have a password for your website? I have Goddards in my tree, and was wondering if there were any cross-overs.

Regards

Hi Daisy May,
I came across this post today and wondered if you'd seen a website by Brian Collett, www.collettfamilyhistory.net?

He has traced the family history right back to the 1300s.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but did David Collett have a son called Joseph, who married someone called Annie (no idea of the surname)?

I believe that one of the children was Charles William Collett, who marries Lilian Kuhn?

Regards

Katherine

That's great! Thanks for the year - it really helps. At least I can try the marriage certificate for pointers.

Sorry to be so vague! Annie J Watson & Thomas Smith had a son in 1925, so that kind of gives an idea of the ages I'm hoping for.

The only other info I have is that the Mothers name may have been Annie Smith (not exactly narrowing things down for me), and they were from County Mayo originally. I believe that Thomas was the eldest son, keeping his mothers name as it was before the wedding.

Looking for any information on Thomas Smith. His father was a McAndrew, but because his mother was another religion, they didn't marry until later and the family took the Smith name.

Have been told that they lived at Casle Ward, Gosforth, but can find no family with the mixed names. Thomas was a male nurse at the lunatic asylum in later life and married Annie J Watson.

Anyone with any help would be solving a huge headache!! Please feel free to get in touch.
