Hi

Yes, in 1911, I found Joseph with wife and daughter both called Emily. I found a Richard William, born Peterborough, with wife Maud. I have a marriage certificate for them and it all fits. I haven't bought the cert for Walter because I couldn't see how that would help.

I have Joseph death certificate and I've just received his will and probate. No help at all. Only to let me know that his wife was still alive. I cannot find a death for her, or a marriage or death for their daughter.

I cannot understand the address for Richard, I think it is Perry or Ferry Street, Hull. Going on the area I cannot find any children born to Harrison with Taylor as the mother.

I would so like to find living relatives of this branch, I've found them for the other three in that generation.

Thanks for help

Hi
I am researching a branch of our Harrison family who moved to Hull and settled in the Sculcoates area.

Joseph (from Spalding) married Emily Leveritt from Pinchbeck in 1880. After having their first child, Richard William in 1881 in Peterborough, they moved to Hull. They had Walter in 1884 and Emily in 1885.

I have found them in the census and found Joseph death.
I may have found a death for Walter in 1911 and a marriage for Richard in 1908.
I say maybe because I can't be sure if they are the right ones.

Would any one have any ideas or be able to help in any way please?

Many thanks

Thank you.

Are there any online indexes by any chance? I live
on the south coast and can't get to Leicestershire record office.

I'm trying to do this quickly for a cousin's surprise 80th birthday. Not as easy task.

Regards

Hello SB

I know they are and I am on the south coast.

I was hoping someone may have a transcription
that they could do a look up for me.

Alternatively if someone is going to the record office
and could spare a few minutes I would be very appreciative.

Many thanks

Yes, I am having trouble finding confirmation of their baptisms as well.

That's the trouble with living so far away. I can't just nip in to the record office.
My source isn't very reliable so I need to keep an open mind and check everything.

Many thanks

Cambridgeshire Lookup Requests / Walsoken look up- Wright Family
« on: Monday 01 March 10 22:32 GMT (UK)  »
Hi everyone

I would be very grateful if some one is able to help me with a look up please. I know Walsoken is in Norfolk but I understand the registers are at Wisbech. Correct me if I'm wrong!

I am looking for the baptisms of Samuel b c8132 and Rebecca b c1834.

Their parents are John Pretty & Mary(?) Wright. I don't think they were married in Walsoken but they could have been.

The second name Pretty has been given to each generation and I am looking
for proof it is here with either Samuel or Rebecca. I want to find out where Pretty came from.

Many thanks

Carol

Hi

I don't think I can help with William but does he by any chance have a brother Thomas please? I am looking for him married to Sarah Crisp.
I think his parents are James & Martha possibly both born in Measham.

Many thanks

Carol
