Hertfordshire / KNIGHT Death
« on: Sunday 30 November 14 02:35 GMT (UK)  »
I believe Maud Louvaine (also shown as Lorraine) KNIGHT died in St Albans in July 2004, born in February 1915 and the wife my mother's cousin Albert Thomas Turner KNIGHT who died in 1996.

If possible I would appreciate if someone could check the local newspaper for Death notice for her - I do not have an actual day just the month and year.
Thanks

Essex / Re: Where is Tom SHANKS?

I am still looking for Thomas (Tommy) SHANKS born in Ireland 1880.  He left his wife (my great aunt) Florence (nee TURNER) in late 1920s.
The had the Victoria Pub in Brightlingsea.
I would appreciate any information on his life after the pub and when/where he died.

Sue,
The child may have been registered as 'unnamed male' and later registered under the name he is known by.
He would have attended a school and it should be possible to view, or obtain, information that was given when he was admitted to a school.  Many NZ libraries and branches of NZ Genealogy Society may be able to help with this.
Happy hunting

Hertfordshire / Albert Thomas Turner KNIGHT
« on: Thursday 04 July 13 11:36 BST (UK)  »
Albert is my mother's cousin - born 1908 West Ham - married Maud L MILLER 1970 Hemel Hempstead - he died June 1994 St Albans.  I can find no other information about Maud except that she appears to be on 2002 Electoral. There is a suggestion of a child Colin but have no idea whether this is correct.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Diane's passing is not leaving one footstep - she leaves a long trail for the rest of her friends on and offline to follow.
A very special lady who will be much missed.

Arohanui to Rob, Bre and other members of the family now and always.

Prayers and thoughts from Southland, NZ.
