Thank you for sorting this out for me.  I just couldn't quite work it all out.

Much appreciated.  Now to look see if this is the family I am looking for and that Edward is the brother of Elizabeth and that Alice is a sister of Elizabeth.

Regards
Barbara

Thank you to all who have taken the time to look up info on Elizabeth Berry/Bury, it is much appreciated.
I have looked at all the info but cannot confirm any of it as being my GG Grandmother at this stage.
However, while looking through all this information I can across the following.

I am trying my best to work all this out but maybe I am just not seeing it correctly.  Any help here much appreciated.

Yes, the information re Edward Evans is correct. My G Grandfather.
I note the marriage in Denbigshire and I guess below their eldest son.

Yes, have been down the track of Eliza Berry St Chad Shewsbury.  It is not an easy one at all. Just can't find enough info to actually confirm all this.

Thank you for taking the time to look at this for me.

DCB

Thank you for looking at this query for me.
The Lowe family in this 1841 census is not the same family Elizabeth is with in 1851.
Thanks

Thank you Carol, yes, have her 1851 working for the Low family.
It is her birth and parents I would really like to find as I have her history, all but 1881, till she died in 1898 in Minera.

Thanks once again.

I am researching Elizabeth Bury/Berry, my Gt Gt Grandmother.  Born abt 1829 according to census.  She is consistent with her place of birth as Baschurch on the Census.

She married Thomas Evans, 1855 St. Hilarys Church, Erbistock.
The father's name on the certificate is Edward Berry/Bury - Stonemason

I have not been able to find any information on her birth parents.

Two of her children were born in Bersham one being my Gt Grandfather Edward and Elizabeth.  Elizabeth died in St. Martins Shropshire.  After this 4 of their children were born The Lodge St. Martin Oswestry. This was up to 1864.  After that another child Mary was born back in Bersham.
There are two children named Mary, one only surviving till she was 90.Wondering if Mary was the mother's name as it had been used twice.  Elizabeth apparently died in Bersham in 1898.  While Thomas was a miner, or Labourer Coal miner for most of his working life but on two occassions while in Shropshire worked as a Agricultural Labourer 1863 and Bricklayer Labourer in 1864 before returning to a Labourer Coalmine when he returned to Bersham.  My question is, did Elizabeth have family living in Oswestry as I have not found any Evans family living in Oswestry, that I am aware of.  Majority were in the Bersham/Coedpoeth area.  Any help on finding information on Elizabeth Berry/Bury and her family would be much appreciated.  Thank you.

Just found this and I know it is back some time ago.  But, this is a family who I too am looking for.
Thomas, "could" be my GG Grandfather and Elizabeth the sister of my Gt Grandfather.
I know that Elizabeth married Geo. Henry Clampitt.  At the time of her marriage 1884 she was living at 30 Malta St. Toxteth.  This is where my G Grandfather and wife Ellen Evans lived at the time.  I am trying to establish a connection with Elizabeth and Edward as myself and some of my cousins have a DNA match to the Clampitt family.

Would love to hear from anyone re this.
Many thanks.
