To everyone involved in providing information regarding the Hearn family.

I have now concluded there was never a Richard Hearn in my family.

I have ordered the Birth and Death certificate for the following:

Hilda Sallie Hearn the twins James and Benjamin George Hearn plus George Hearn.  At this time I have not ordered any certificates for Harry William Hearn, I shall wait until I have received the certificates I have recently ordered.  They should arrive the second week in January and I will let everyone know if the children are part of my family.

Kind Regards
Keith

Hi Heywood,

I noticed the same thing, but I have ordered the “twins” birth certificates so I will see when they arrive.

I also noticed in of the twins died a few weeks after birth James, so there may have been a delay in registering his birth.

We shall see.

just to let everyone know, I have had access to the 1910 Stalybridge Reporter newspaper coverage of little Hilda Sallie Hearn's circumstances leading upto her death.

Today I have ordered both her birth certificate and death certificate.

Tomorrow I shall investigate the information Mabel has provided.

Much appreciated everyone.

To everyone who has helped me regarding the Richard Hearn saga.

I am still searching the free BMD database to find a Richard, so far no joy.

But on a positive note, I have added Hilda Sallie Hearn I have purchased credits on the British Newspapers site and downloaded the Stalybridge Reporter article regarding the circumstances of her tragic death in 1910.  Yes her father who was named in the article was my Great Grandfather Henry John Hearn.

As mentioned on the thread I posted I have gone back to the 1911 census and I can clearly see that my great gran, Sarah Ann gave birth to 9 children and sadly 5 children died.  So at the moment I am searching for the other 4 children as I can, with your help, account for poor Hilda Hearn.

Thank you for everyone's help and pointing me in the right direction

Hi everyone,

Thank you for all the feedback, cath151 I shall follow up your input.

Sounds very much like my Great grandfather say name and yes he was a theatre manager in manchester, I knew nothing about Hilda.

CaroleW,

I have obviously learnt a lesson there.

Thanks, and no wonder I haven’t been able to find an entry for Richard’s birth.

I always back BDM with a certificate hence why I needed to find his birth entry.

Hi everyone,

I admit I am using Ancestry uk database to fill in my tree and today Richard’s name has appeared as a hint, but there is no other data/documents to substantiate his details.
