I am trying to find out details concerning the death of Thomas John Davies, who was born Wales 1874, and lived in the Ohio area (Youngstown) possibly, and after emigrating in 1882 would have died between that date and 1889.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as I am trying to find details of my family who lived in the US, from 1882-1898 in I believe the Ohio area, and are there any sites concerning deaths/births, as I believe one of the children died there, and three were born there. His details are Thomas and (Ann DAVIES.) Father and Mother. B.1849.and 1850, Llandybie, Camarthenshire, Wales. He was a Carpenter, and returned home and built two American style houses in Llandybie in 1898, the only ones in the UK, and are now Grade 2 listed.

I am trying to find out details regarding the death in 2002 of a relative Eric Davies who was born in Llandybie, Carmarthenshire, Wales in 1925, and who emmigrated to Canada in the fifties/sixties. I believe he was in or near Vancouver, British Columbia, and may have had an engineering business. Any info would be very welcome.

Can anyone help? I am trying to locate the death details of a relative David DAVIES, who I believe died in Ohio between 1882-1889. He was born in 1874 in Llandybie, Carmarthenshire, Wales, and was the son of Thomas, and Anne Davies. They may have lived in the Mahonning area. I believe he may have died either by being hit by a swing in a playground, or died as the result of a Shooting Accident.

The first list with ann and family seems to fit the bill, I did not know about the infant William, but there was a story that one number of the family died in the US. I have searched and searched passenger lists, where did you get these details from? The house I was born in is shown on my profile. It was built in 1897 after the family returned. They are the only two of their kind in the UK and are Grade 2 listed buildings of interest and importance. Thank you kindly for the help you have given me.
                                                     Regards: Roger. :)
PS. Thomas DAVIES was a Carpenter/Joiner.

Thank you very very much for the info: I will go back to the drawing board, and have a look. I looks quite good at the moment. Where did you get the details from as I have tried all the lists I could find. I will let you know what the outcome is. Thank you very much. :)

I am trying to find a Thomas DAVIES, B.1849 a Carpenter, and Wife Ann DAVIES B 1850, together with his children Griffith Frederick DAVIES and twin Thomas John DAVIES  Born 1874, and David DAVIES  Born 1877 and Mary Elizabeth DAVIES B.1878. They appear on the 1881 UK census, so would have emmigrated Between 1881-1886. They returned home to Wales and in 1897 build two american style houses that still stand. They were all from  Llandybie Carmarthenshire, Wales.
