In 1861 Brooks Judson aged 36, a labourer from East Harsley, Yorks was living with his wife Lily J. from Scotland at 8 South Terrace Seaham Harbour.
In 1871 he was living at New Cottages, these later became Swine Bank (Lodge) cottages and were for miners at Seaham Colliery

My references to George Judson are..........
1851 mariner aged 21 lodging with James Foggin and family (also from East Harsley) in North Railway St, Seaham Harbour (the Judsons and Foggins were related)
1851 living at Vane Terrace, Seaham Harbour.
1858 a pilot    "     "     "         "          "      "
1865 living at 16 Blandford Place Seaham Harbour.
1872 Master Mariner living at 54 Frances Street, Seaham H.
1873 Shipowner    "     "     "           "          "             "
1879 Shipowner and Ship Chandler 2 Church Street Seaham H
1881 Shipowner from Harsley Yorks aged 52 married to Margaret aged 35 from Hylton living at 52 Frances St Seaham H.

Richard Wilkinson lived at 5 Vane Terrace, Seaham Harbour (not Dawdon) in 1861 with his wife and four children. There is a photograph of this street on my website www.east-durham.co.uk
