i am sorry i have upset you with my post on the 17th i honoured that by replying and apologizing to the other person who gave me a hard time. i was ill over weekend and didn't realise as i was unsure about birth place so didnt see it as a problem but it must have been so i asked for ayrshire one to be removed  but thank you for your observations just a pity you didn't say ii had asked for duplicate to be removed,

Thank you monica i wasnt sure as the family moved between Ayr and Campbeltown hence 2 posts but i have got the information in the argyllshire page so feel free to delete the ayrshire post

Hi rosie he was my grandfathers brother and i have the bloodlines but as he was born in 1903 i am unable to find anything other than what i have already have confirmed by a cousin in cyprus. the middle names add to the confusion as did my ancestors work because they were carters and some were born in Ayr and others in Campbeltown.its been a few years since i posted anything but i do know that yes he was my grt uncle and i have his fathers name also siblings but this has been a great breakthrough for my research or so i thought.

Hi i have been gathering little pieces of my tree over the years and have just found out an uncle played football for aberdeen fc,i put a couple of posts up but i am unsure what i should be writing other than just what i know about my uncle.

hi my grt uncle was born in Campbeltown on the 20th of january 1903 he played football for Aberdeen Fc any information on my family research would be greatly appreciated.as all my living relatives i knew on my fathers line have passed away.
