hello, i have researched a gt uncle james alexander renwick of 3 oliver place hawick son of andrew richardson renwick-draper. he went to australia,enlisted and was killed oct 1918...i have applied to the australian high commission for his records and medals...he was mentioned in dispatches.
the one thing i do not have is a photo....can you help...your book seems to be invaluable.
how wonderful that the time was taken to note all the brave people who gave their lives...barbara

borders family history society.....very kind people who will advise you how to go about things too

hello my first try at this forum...researching my roots,i already have the cd for selkirk
now i need help with hawick i am told 3 churchyards..so which one is the poser..am looking for andrew richardson renwick--draper--he lived at 3 oliver place also scaurend at roberton his monument list his family and would be of great help with dates etc.,he died 1926 aged 71 i believe.
can you advise me...........many thanks..barbara
