Hi

I have been trying to find details of a death, My 3 x Great Grandfather Robert Barnes was born abt. 1819 in Thornton Leicestershire, he moved up to Old monkland Western District Lanarkshire between 1861 and 1871, then i cant find him in Scotland, his wife Sarah Barnes and her youngest son are on a census for 1881 in Tingle Bridge, Wombwell,England and it states Sarah has a Widow. There is no record in Scotland of a Robert Barnes death between 1871 and 1881, so i presume he moved back to england with his wife and son and then died. Would it be possible for someone to do a look up for me and see if he died in England, TingleBridge, Wombwell.

Many Thanks

Sarah

Hi

Thanks again for looking at my post, as far has religion goes, i did notice on one of Jane's sons marriage certs that it mentioned according to the forms of the Original Secession Church. Would this mean anything. Please excuse my ignorance. Can you point me in the right direction with this. Your help and guidance is very much appreciated.

Thank you

Hi everyone ;D

I am looking for my 4th Great Grandfather, Richard Mclaren he was born abt. 1828 County Tyrone. His parents names were Richard McLaren and Jane (Vaughan I think). He moved to Glasgow where he married Jane Henderson from Belfast in 1846 on 4th September. He died on 24 January 1904 in Dennistoun district, Glasgow. He had 6 children all born in Scotland. This is all the info i have on him so far. I hope this is enough. Im not sure what year he moved to Glasgow and whether his parents moved with him.

Kind Regards

Sarah

Hi Everyone ;D

I am trying to find my 4th Greatgrandmother, Jane Henderson. I know she was born in Belfast between 1829 and 1834. Her parents names are Joseph Henderson & Elizabeth Fasnell or Farnell. She moved to Glasgow before 1846 when she married Richard McLaren on 4th Sept, who was from County Tyrone. She died 23 May 1883 at 65 Brown Street, Barony, Glasgow. Jane had 6 children all born in Scotland. I have found census reports in Scotland for 1851, 1871 & 1881.

In the 1851 Scottish Census, Jane lived with her husband Richard McLaren, her 2month old daughter Mary Ann and 2 visitors Mary ann Henderson age 17 and Sarah Henderson age 52, i think they may be relatives maybe a Cousin and a Aunt.

This is all the info i have, hopeully i will be of some use, many thanks

Kind Regards

Sarah
