Found out more on the photo! It was taken in Bristol Road coventry at Rhoda Jane's house. Catherine is the one seated and standing is Rhoda Jane and her daughter Florence Emily (b 1902). It was taken c.1920.

I would love to have copies of the census! Would you mind if i gave you my addess and you posted them to me? My photo copier appears to be playing up at the moment

Sue

Mystery solved  ;D.
I don't suppose you know if this grave is still visable? Be nice to pay a visit if it is. Have you any idea when Sarah (his first wife) died or where she is buried?

Henry Wagstaff was my g-g-grandfather, his daughter Catherine being my g-g-grandmother. I have an old photo of her but not sure how i put it onto the site.

Many thanks for the burial information - where is the burial site exactly? I also don't understand how William and Elizabeth were buried on the same date or why they were living at seperate address's. Any ideas on this and also how can i verifiy that this is them? Sorry for all these questions!

i cannot recall where i got my info on william from now! I have bought myself a note book and intend to write down where all my info has come from. However i am also on GenesReunited and a John Wagstaff assures me that William was born in Coventry - i shall have to ask him how he knows this. He also tells me that Williams parents were also a William Wagstaff (c1750) and his mother was Mary Ryley but there is no date for her.

My william could be the one baptised in 1776. I can find no other info on there connected to the william i have. Sarahs parents were a James Pickard and Elizabeth Price. I do not know the names of Williams parents

The William i have was born in 1776/77 and he was from coventry. He married Sarah Pickard and she died in 1826. In the same year William then married an Elizabeth Price. William died in 1850.
Their son Henry (sarahs) was born in 1815 and died in 1889
