Franklyn has been in touch and it turns out he is my cousin--long lost (70 years!) Samuel, son of convict John, was my grandfathers(William ) father. William's son Herbert was my dad. MP.

I posted a message a minute ago but where it is now I know not. Perhaps this will have the same fate.I am a Puldord and my grandfather William lived at Murrindindi so I suspect he may be a son of Samuel. Anybody know?

Another Pulford has surfaced---me.My people came from Murrindindi and I was there many times as a youngster to my grand parents property. I am also interested re. any offspring of Samuel's as I suspect my grandfather to be one such.

Genni, I have 1875 recorded in my own hand but I do not recall how I came by this date. More attention to records is needed I fancy but at the time it was of little interest. On visiting Murrindindi as a little bloke I recall reference to "Charlie" in conversation and for all I know I have been to his place----I was probably around 8 or 9 and you don't know where you get taken at that age particularly along country roads in a bone rattling old tourer!
I believe William to be William Francis. His son,my father, was Herbert Francis

It looks as though I made a mistake and accidentally posted 1/2 the message

I have just come across all this work. I am a Pulford and I have reason to believe my grandfather, william, from Murrindindi may have been Charles' brother and so a son of Samuel. Is this of any interest?
