I have acquired a few old books from my recently deceased father in law one of which is called ''The happy recovery and other stories for the young'', inside is a hand wriitten inscription that says

''Presented to Arthur Allen by his teacher mrs imhoff for attendance and good conduct Jan 13th 1878''

none of the family know its origin, this book is likely to of been presented to a pupil in the bolden area, quite sweet i thought

hello, a relation of mine (English) was in the royal marines based in Malta in the 1950's on British soil (so they say) anyway he and my aunt had a baby who died in Malta when she was 6 weeks old. I have tried to find her on f m p  ect but cannot find her anywhere, she is British by birth although born in the country of Malta, is there any reason why she would not be on f m p  ect
