The Common Room / Finding a will
« on: Saturday 05 February 11 09:02 GMT (UK)  »
My mother -in-law died about 10 years ago. I know a will was written as we bought her house and a will was drawn up giving her lifelong rights to live in the house . We then found out that a  daughter -in -law had persuaded her to change the will in her favour cutting us out of house ownership, when we found out we had to sue the mother-in-law for the value of the house, this was paid for by the daughter-in-law. When the Mother-in-law died we didn't get a look at the will. The daughter-in-law was the Execute of the will. The Solicitor had to be sued because he drew up both wills and knew that we owned the house.

Hi All.
I am writing a book and need to copy pictures for use in it, is it best to scan the pics at the highest resolution using a Printer/Scanner or take a digital picture using a small camera? Some of the pics are up to 100 years old.

Thanks all.

Hi Trisha_2.
Sorry about missing that exhibition but where was the Billesley Centre that you held it in?was it Trittiford  School or were! have you still got any details of people who had pics? I have an old map of Billesley and I am populating it with old pics of Billesley. It is at Holy Cross Community Centre at the moment.
