That's 100% my man.

He married Dinah James 1766, they had a son William b Mar 1785, my direct ancestor.

It certainly looks to be the parents marriage, thanks a lot.

My tree leads me back to Samuel Chapman born abt 1737, don't know month, married 1766 in the village of East Bradenham Norfolk.

Banns say of this village, but there is no trace of him prior to the Banns, I asked at Norwich records office ,the assistant said he would only need to be in the village for a fortnight, to be classed as of this village.

She suggested looking at nearby village records

Samuel Chapman Lakenheath was bapt 1738. this could be born abt 1737.

Lakenheath I believe is about 18 miles from Bradenham
