The only Oswald found buried in the Auchterderran Churchyard was Ann Oswald 14 April 1839, age 79, wife of Jas Wilson 20 Apr 1825, age 65. Also their son, John 18 Feb 1817, age 21.

Researching Isobel (Isabella) STRACHAN, born 1771-1773, CABRACH, Banffshire. This is the place she listed on 2 later census'. She married William Patrick 20 Mar 1803 in Cupar, Fife. I am looking for her birthdate and parents and any other ancestors. Isabella is my husband's 4th Great Grandmother.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I saw that you had headstone names from the cemeteries in Fife, and in those names were the surnames of Christie and Penman and my Christie's and Penman's were from Auchterderran, Kinglassie, and Leslie. I was in Fife this last summer and visted cemeteries in Kinglassie and Leslie and did find some family headstones. Just wondering what you had on these names. I am in Reno, Nevada. Where in California are you?
