Yes I knew about the number changes from a lambeth website, cant remember how though.  Thats why I got a map,  on the back of themap it has some of the roads and number and the residents,   124 next to the Angel pub was a bakers run by a Thomas Lees.  my g g grandfather worked in the Angel pub around 1861 , bit before yours were there.
No I havent had the chance to visit as yet I live in the midlands. Have seen a photo of the hostel now but not found a photo of how it was before. Nice to see a preservation order on it. I would like to see any photos you have if thats possible.

Re no 71 Lambeth Walk, late 1870s
I have a map fromAlan Godfrey maps of Lambeth Walk 1872
obviously a bit before your bunch were there.
At no 71 is listed a John Honour  Hairdresser !!it was 3  doors away from the turning of Saville Place going towards Little Canterbury Place, if thats any help, dont know if you can get a later map have a look at alan godfrey maps, theyre very good. 
I got this map cos my gt grandfather worked as a potman/waiter at the Angel public house 125 lambeth walk around that time the pub is now an upmarket sports bar,but its still there !!
