I was most interested in your addition to the Rootschat.  We certainly have a lot of ancestors in common - Marshalls and Dixons for a kickoff!!  I have more old photos of some of the Marshalls if you are interested and I have done a fair bit of digging on both ancestral lines - it would be nice to compare notes.  My email address is      if you would like to contact me.

Hi,

Just started doing some research on the Dixons, as Margaret Dixon looks to be my g-grandmother also.  My grandfather was her son Herbert.  What was your connection?

I am researching this DIXON line in my ancestry and have got a basic tree, but would welcome any info. Margaret Dixon b 13Mar 1850 is my g-grandmother
