Hi Jess
Yes, my husband is from Australia.
If you have a photo of him that would be greatly appreciated. His wife from memory was Emily Jane Thomas but not a hundred percent sure on this. Finding it hard to track down any information on this branch of the family tree. My email address is dgwalker@tpg.com.au
Cheers, Debbie

Hi Jess,
Thanks for the reply!! I didn't think I would ever get one!!
He is my husband's great grandfather but we haven't had much luck in tracking down much information about him. We visited the local church in Windeyer, NSW where he built the wooden seats and pews in that church and they are testament of his skills because they are still in good condition but much used as you would expect.
Cheers,
Debbie

Hi everyone,

Would someone be able to look up Assisted Immigrants from England to Victoria Passenger list for June 1855.  The ship was the 'Epaminondas' which departed from Plymouth and arrived in Geelong 1 June 1855.  Looking for a Ann Connors Age 22 Born abt 1833 Clare, Ireland.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi Ted,

I've been in contact with Alex, he's been a great help with information as well. I'm not that far from you I'm in New South Wales, not sure but I think you've already got my email address, Alex passed on your email address to me. Leah is my great grandmother's mother so that means we're third or fourth cousins???

Cheers,
Debbie

Great to get a reply from you Ted. The only information I have on this side of my family is what I have been able to find on the IGI and from the replies to my post. The replies have included a wealth of information and I've been able to fill in a lot of my missing branches on my family tree. I'm also in Australia and descended from Leah Langston. If I come across any further info will definitely pass it on.

Thanks Morgan and Augustine for the replies. I had a problem translating them, not being able to read French, but JM has been able to translate them for me.
