Thomas was christened on the 28 SEP 1851 in Shifnal, born to parents William and Mary.
I've come across the idea that people contend that the name derives from Billingsley, but be warned that there are records of the surname Binnersley back to the 1600s in Shropshire, particularly the Cleobury Mortimer area. Having said that, those that do adhere to the above, tend to see that their families used the surname Binnersley from around the 1850s ish when there was more regulation of the way that the surname was spelt.
Know that you said that in your message that you were not interested in this line so much, but every little helps and its nice to see someone else with it in their tree!!
