I have been trying for a long time to find the baptism of Nathaniel about 1766. I have now found his marriage in St Peter Le Poer Church in The City of London. It was the 16/11/1793. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to check for his birth. Following the marriage, he went to live in Sussex where brought up his family. Any help would be appreciated. Poppyann

I hope that someone could help me to find the above house. I have been to Matfield to try and find it without any luck. I have information that the house was called Uplands in the 1940's. Perhaps someone could give me some idea where I can look. Regards Poppyann

Hi Jan, I am still looking for the parents of Henry Gander born about 1576 possibly in Hurstpierpoint. He married Annis? Hall 5/10/1607 in Hurstpierpoint. He had 2 children both in Hurstpierpoint. Jane 1607 and Richard 1611. Any help that you could find for me would be greatly appreciated. Regards Poppyann

I found a marriage for a Thomas Ford and a Mary Weller 16/3/1737 in Wartling but this is the only one I have found. I didn't know they had that many children, I only had William 1750, Anne 1752 and Charles 1755. Regards Poppyann

Hi Jan, many thanks. It is thought that Henry might have been Gandier and was a Hugenout and came to England. This is just a thought. Poppyann

The children of Thomas and Mary were:- Thomas 1789 born in Merton and married in Cobham and William born 1788 in Merton if this helps. Poppyann
