I've just seen this email and wondered if you still had the details for he Joseph McDonald you mentioned.  Does it tell you his job, marital status, or where in Ireland he was born ?

Hi Jean,

Thank you for looking, I didn't realize there was so many. 

She was most likely born between 1847 & 1849, if it helps but that is not definite, she was registered as 13 in 1861.

She was born in Manchester, Lancashire.

Thank you, it does help if only to confirm this is not the correct one.  I think there must be another one possibly in Cheshire.  Her mother should be Jane McDonald, although she may not be living with her.  Her same with her father who would be Joseph McDonald.

The other thing is that they could be listed as Mc Donald (with a space) or MacDonald.  McDonald would be the correct spelling though.
