Afternoon Ciderdrinker

There is one possible on the 1871 census born 1866 father James mother Ann it doesnt look like anyone of that name was born in 1868 next one is born 1870 and his father is Thomas

Only other possibility is that he was illegitimate and used his fathers name on the marriage certificate but was know by something else before

Coming back to this after my family software threw a wobbly so I have had to go back and start again with a lot of stuff found Margery's baptism down as Marjory which confirms her parents are John and Parnell

Still haven't found Eleanor though  ;D

Thanks

Hi looking at FreeReg the only Maud Alice Jones listed is Dec quarter of 1873 in Reading Berkshire bit she is on the 1881 census and her father is William

I would say that there is every chance she was born in Pittsburgh but I cant spot her on the 1891 UK census either so did she come over after that date?

Hi I cant see Mr Hesselwood on the 1921 census the only person I can find that might fit is an Alick Hesselwood b 1891 registered West Ham Essex who served in the merchant navy and is on the 1911 census as Alec

Fanny is on the GRO index 1838 Burton upon Trent as Henchcliff MMN Scattergood so it looks like your theory is correct on the second marriage

There is a burial on FreeREG

St Giles Willenhall 7.9.1849 Harriet Baker aged 36

There doesn't seem to be a corresponding death certificate on FreeBMD
