Hi

Thanks for your help.

I have no idea who this person is. I found it among the photos my nan gave me and unfortunately i cannot ask her.

The photo showing the regd number 642124 was taken at the Greengate studios, Barking road East Ham which is where my ancestors are from.

On the back of the other photo is very faintly written the number 29385? I have no idea if this could mean anything or not?

The family names from that area are; Stirling, Tree, Bland, Winstone and Gillman.

Many thanks again,

Chris

Hello

I have two photos of an unknown person and was wondering if anyone could identify the uniform he is wearing - this may help in finding out who he is in my family.

Many thanks

Hi

Thanks for all your help.

Greenrig, looking at Robert Stirling marriage cert it says his parents were James and Mary so i'm confused about the details you found for a marriage for Robert and Mary. Probably me, so fed up with looking at this document :o

I can't find his birth cert, i found him on the census and it states he is from Ireland. As for his death, again, still no luck. He moved to West Ham, London (he was a sugarhouse labourer) and can't find him after 1901,I believe he was still alive in 1912.

Thanks

Chris

Hi

Looking for some help in trying to date this photograph in the hope that i can try and work out who they are??

On the bottom right hand side of the photo is the name A Lawton Jones 238 Upper Street. The side of the family i think they are from come from either Fulham/Hammersmith way or Holborn, London.

Any help would be great.
