I do have the mother's name and the name of the home, also the year and approximate month. I wondered if records would be available at the registrars office.

A young unmarried woman gave birth to a baby at a mother and baby home at Edinburgh in 1922. The baby I believe was adopted. Is there any way I can find out about the baby, what sex it was, or of the adoptive parents and would the birth mother's name be on the birth certificate. I would be grateful for any advice.

There were 30 attacks on Aberdeen, 178 people killed and 599 buildings rendered uninhabitable. The biggest raid was on the 21st April 1943, when 98 people died and 93 were seriously injured.
