It was certainly a popular job in Birmingham, just put Carriage Lamp Maker into the 1851 census and there's 57 people with 'Carriage Lamp maker' as their occupation.

Hi, I don't know were she was in 1841, the first census I have is the 1851 she is then with her husband, living in Birmingham

The names have been transcribed wrong should be Nicholls

Could someone please point me in the right direction on getting details of a baptism of an Eliza Hateley born about 1828-30 in Wednesbury , I believe her fathers name was John.
