please please check this list if you are related to someone who has died intestate (no will) their money goes to the goverment http://www.copfs.gov.uk/About/roles/qltr/Aug03/April08 this is the scottish list your missing link could be on it

hi there
i am looking for some help with a look up please but unfortunetly i dont have loads of information, my great uncle and aunt moved to new zealand (i never new them) where they lived and died without having any children. their names were james and helen crerar, james was born in glasgow in 1924. a very nice person on rootschat mk2 look for their deaths and thinks they died in rotorua 1968/1971 but it would be nice to have it confirmed so if anyone could help i would be very grateful

its linda right after you left i kept looking and i found the family on three censuses 1841 1851 and 1861 so sarahs husband thomas must have died between 1841 and 1851 as she is classed as a widow on 1851 but he is there in 1841i have all the details if you want them if you dont already have them
