she was born at 216 Thomas street Gorton but the certificate does say Chorlton Ardwick 187717 October

Hi i belive there was a boarding school home in Broughton salford and I was told a couple of years ago in 1891 my great grandmother was there on the Uk census...but when i try to search for her i cant find her she she be 13/4

Brookes or Brooks Photographers...my great great grandmother apparently work in their Blackpool shop and when her daughter Louisa Wood or Green single age 33 married Arthur William Gorton widower age 45 or 48 married 1910 in Chorlton the witnness were Joshua and Minnie Louisa Brookes...not sure if just friend of family connected...does anyone know anything about the Brookes Photographers family...not been able to find any more except my mother says there was a lady called Dollie Brookes but she did not know if family or friend as everyone was called aunty my mum in now 75 so time scale
